Will the SDCC reveals be on G4's Attack of the Show again?

No, they will be on mattycollector.com this year in our news section. 

Mattel and MEGA brand just announced a partnership, any chance for MOTU MEGA Blocks or any other collector type brands?

Mattel and MEGA Brands Inc. recently announced a multi-year global licensing partnership to develop construction toys based on the Barbie® and Hot Wheels® brands. The new lines will be at retail starting in spring 2013. If the partnership expands to Matty Collector properties, we will be sure to let you know about availability. 

What about the Ghostbuster bonus for subscribers, any date for this info?

That is 100% coming. We are just waiting to have a final sample before revealing. Sorry for the delay. 

Any chance for more Disney Cars exclusives either on Matty or SDCC?

At this time we do not have any additional CARs items planned for Mattycollector.com. 

Why was the BTTF Hoverboard pre-sale extended, we heard at Toyfair that there would be no extension.

Due to the high level of press we received and the confirmation from engineering that we can hold off on a quota by 8 more days and still make a Nov ship date we opted to extend the sale.

Any update on the Digital River enhancements to the website for subscribers.

Yes. It is coming. Right now the lawyers are holding it up while contracts are signed. But we are close!

There was a user report of credit card being stolen after use on Mattycollector. This was posted and then subsequently reports being called by Digital River- is this anything you have heard about?

We investigated this and it turned out to be not true. The post was a fraud, not the incident. 

With continued talk of a GB3 movie, would we see more product if a movie happens

At this time there are no plans for GB3 product. We will have to wait to see if the movie happens! But we sure would love to.  

There has been lots of reports of changes to the DC All- Star Retail line, can we get some confirmation post Toyfair of the line-ups
There will be one final wave coming, which will shortly be announced.

Can the BTTF line of props be expanded beyond the hoverboard, ie Flux Capicator and other items?
It is always possible but nothing is planned right now   

 

April Chat and Ebay Sale

Well April 1st has come and gone and of course the web had its fair share of jokes and fake products out there. I expect the Ask Matty Q&A today, but who knows if the answers will be legit or not- so stay tuned. Also I am selling some pieces from the collection to raise funds for another project-
