Star Trek and Hasbro's Kre-O Line

Right around Toy Fair it was made known that Hasbro now had the license to Star Trek. With anticipation for the next Star Trek movie, many hope that any new product is a substantial improvement over the peg-warming toys from the toys from the most recent Star Trek re-boot. Check out a tease shot from Hasbro of the Kre-O line.

Ask Matty Q&A for 2/15

1- Will Toyguru's MOTU commentary continue on the forums?
We sure hope so! That is up to him and how much spare time he has these days. It is not part of his required job, but he loves doing it when he can.

2- After Toy Fair will there be much news before SDCC?
Some, but most will be at major shows

3- When will the deluxe DC Action League seen at NYCC be released?
That is still up in the air pending retailer interest? (FYI- these were at NY Toyfair with new packaging so I would hope these are going forward)

4- With the plan not to sell product unless 100% in the warehouse, by what date will be the cut off to know what will be on sale?
Now it is 15-45 days prior to sale

5- The QC issues have been well addressed, how about the Digital River cancellation email issues, why is that happening
The reason subs were "canceled" was due to sub holders not having enough funds in their account/on their cards to cover the figure. We know fans were not trying to "cancel" their sub, this was an automatic message sent out to customers without adequate funds. Going forward we changed the wording of the message to clarify for customers that their sub will be "on hold" due to a payment failure, not canceled. This was out fault for a poorly worded automatic message

Lego's Monster Fighters Line - New from Toy Fair

Here is a fall release line from Lego. Done in-house not licensed, but clearly taking direction from the classic horror monsters.

Lego's Marvel Line from Toy Fair 2012

Check out the Lego Marvel line for 2012. There are some movie Avenger based products and an X-men set. This is just the beginning of what will likely come.

Hanna Barbera History Collection from Toy Fair

While walking by the Diamond booth at Toy Fair, these 4 pieces from a company called X-Plus caught my attention. What appears to be a line of classic characters from the animated cartoons, these are planned to be priced about $15. The 4 shown are Judy Jetson, Jonny Quest and Bandit, Wally Gator and Dick Dastardly.
