Minimates Creature from the Black Lagoon Set

The Universal Monsters Minimates have been at local TRU for sometime. These are the 2 packs we have come to know. Via the web and comic stores there are Wolfman and the Creature 4 packs. These 4 packs feature exclusive characters that you can't get at TRU. This 4 pack gives you the classic creature, glow creature, Dr Reed and the Lovely Kay Lawrence in swimsuit. Only for now at TRU can you get a black and white version of the creature. -JK

Seen today on Starwars.com is new art for 2012 that we should see with the Star Wars figure packaging and box art. This new art features Darth Maul.

New Toy Story short before Cars 2

Some teaser pics have been released for a new Pixar short that will premiere before the summer's upcoming Cars 2 movie. This 6 minute short called "Hawaiian Vacation" will tell the story of when Barbie and Ken bungle plans to stow away on a tropical excursion, Woody, Buzz & crew re-create a romantic getaway.
Look for it before Cars 2 on June 24th

Updated Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars Vintage Line

Fro Star Wars Vintage Collection we have a great new variant. Considering a running change the Luke Skywalker from ROTJ initially was released on a cardback featuring a pose from Jabba's Palace as a Jedi Knight. This Luke has been corrected with a hole in his belt for the lightsaber and the cardback is now titled "Endor Capture".

New Release Tuesday

This week I suggest you checking out a cartoon classic Invader Zim. DC releases All Star Superman based on the hit comic series. Also this week we get a Friday release of Megamind.

DC Univers Action League Series 2

After the Batman Action League figures, came DC Universe Action League. I previously showed some wave 1 pictures and today I found at Walmart wave 2, so check your local stores. Priced at $7/pack you get to additional character from the DC Universe. It appears that DC is heavily pushing the Green Lantern characters given the upcoming movie. The new 4 2-packs include : Batman vs Joker, Prometheus vs Green Arrow, John Stewart vs Atrocitus and Low vs Tomar-Re. Check out my in package photos below.

Tonner continues to to make Comic and Movie Inspired Lines

Tonner Dolls makes holds a license for LOTR, Harry Potter, DC, Muppets and coming soon Marvel. They had on display at Toyfair some of their pieces. They had a large DC showcase and featured new decos for their Kermit and Miss Piggy as well.

Uncle Milton mixes science with Star Wars at the Toyfair

Uncle Milton has been making toys that explore the science of Star Wars for about 3 years. Most notable is their Star Wars Force Trainer. They continue to put out some Lightsaber themed items. This year they will have a Boba Fett air rocket, R2-D2 microscope and more. Check out the pics for more details.

NECA continues with their Predator figures. They showcased a great diorama, but also showed us some giant size Predators we will see this year.
